EARLY INTERVENTION 

Early intervention is vital, and when working with sensitive subject areas it must be approached with care, empathy, and age‑appropriate guidance. The Barney and Echo Key Stage 1 & 2 children’s books are designed to be fun, engaging, and visually appealing, while gently supporting conversations around important safety messages and learning goals. 

 

The range covers essential topics including Mindfulness, Anti‑Social Behaviour, Drugs and Alcohol, and Internet Safety. Each book is created to help children understand risks in a safe, accessible way, empowering them to make informed choices. 

 

The PCCGB work closely with Embrace Education Ltd and Amber Bee CIC to ensure these resources reach as many children as possible, supporting schools, families, and communities in delivering meaningful safeguarding education.
