National Citizenship Service 
Fit for Life Programme – Bournemouth and Poole

The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain are proud to announce the start of the Fit for Life programme which will support hundreds of young people across the South West. 
Delivered in partnership with Groundwork Trust, Fit for Life will help young people aged 15-17 gain vital life skills that support their transition into work or further education.  
Our programme includes health and fitness advice, information and support about careers in the fitness industry, accredited coaching qualification (non contact boxing and martial arts), ecology and environmental awareness, social action supporting junior park run and vehicle awareness. 
Upon completion students receive a National Citizenship Service certificate. 
The programme is FREE 
Build independence, get work or college ready, make a positive impact and meet new friends.

We are thrilled that we have received such an accolade and its with massive thanks to our Publishing Partner EMBRACE EDUCATION LTD that we have managed to achieve this.

We had an Amazing time at Ascot Racecourse on 28th November 2023 where we held the Barney and Echo Mindfulness Roadshow!

Our Aim 

To provide access to all, to structured sports programmes in a positive supportive and inspirational environment; 
 
To provide resources that support education around the risk factors associated with involvement in, or becoming a victim of, crime and anti -social behaviour; 
 
To support all children & young people with a particular focus on hard to reach and vulnerable groups; 
 
To work in partnership with all like-minded organisations including Police, Local Authorities and Sporting Bodies. 

Objectives 

To promote responsible citizenship values; 
 
To reduce vulnerability to involvement in, or becoming a victim of, crime and anti-social behaviour; 
 
To increase confidence to help children & young people to achieve their full potential. 
 
To increase sporting and other healthy activity participation levels;
